# Tags

## Overview

All tags used in candidate profiles and jobs may be managed centrally from the Tags page. To help you better arrange and classify your data, you may add, modify, and remove tags here.

On the **Settings** page, select the **Tags** to access.

## Tag Management

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:**

* When you **edit/delete** a tag, you permanently edit/delete all of its data in HireForce.
* Only the **Admin** can edit/delete tags.
 {% endhint %}

You will see all the tags and the number of candidates or jobs with that tag. You can search for a specific Candidate tag using the Search bar.

You're able to edit or delete the Location after being added:

* Edit: Click the **Pencil** icon on the right > Edit information then click **Save**
* Delete: Click the **Trash** icon on the right > Click **Delete**

## Create A New Tag

{% hint style="info" %}
There are **two options** to create a new tag:

* Create a tag on the candidate profile or on the job.
* Create a tag on the **Tags** page.
 {% endhint %}

You can create a new tag on the Tags page as follows:

1. Choose the Object (Candidate or Job) that you would like to add a new tag.
2. Click the **+ New tag** button.
3. Input the tag name. It can be skills, experience level, software knowledge,...or any keywords that help you quickly find the data you need.
4. Click the **Add** button to complete.
