There are 2 parts in a Career Page feature: Career Page and Terms and Conditions
The Custom Domain feature allows you to use your own domain instead of the default Hireforce Career Page URL, enhancing your brand identity and creating a more seamless candidate experience.
Preconditions
Before setting up a custom domain, ensure the following:
You must own a domain purchased from a domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.).
Your Hireforce account must have the Custom Domain feature enabled.
Follow these steps to configure your domain for your Career Page:
Navigate to Career Page → Domains tab.
Enter your domain name in the "Your Domain" field.
Click "Connect".
Once you submit your domain, Hireforce will detect whether you are using a main domain or a subdomain and provide the necessary DNS records:
Main Domain (e.g., norum.com
) → You will receive an A record (@).
Subdomain (e.g., careers.norum.com
) → You will receive a CNAME record.
Your domain status will initially appear as "Pending".
Go to your domain provider’s settings and update the DNS records using the information provided by Hireforce.
Once you’ve configured your DNS settings, return to Hireforce to check the connection status. Note that it may take 2-5 minutes for the changes to take effect.
Click "Refresh domain status" to check if the connection is established.
If the domain is not yet connected, you can try entering your domain in a browser. If a blank page appears, wait a few minutes and try again.
Once your domain is connected, you can manage its status in the Career Page → Domains tab.
If your domain is still pending, the following options will be available:
Status: Pending
→ This will change to Connected
once the domain is successfully linked.
Your Domain: Displays the domain/subdomain entered.
Check DNS Status: Click to manually check the connection.
Delete: Remove the custom domain setup.
Once your domain is successfully connected:
Status: Connected
Refresh Domain Status: Click to re-check the domain’s connection.
Delete: Remove the custom domain.
If you experience any issues while setting up your custom domain, ensure that your DNS records are correctly configured or contact your domain provider for assistance. You can also reach out to Hireforce Support for further guidance.
